The goal was to reflect the brand’s ethos: environmentally conscious, healthy sun-kissed glow, premium quality, and minimalistic design.

THE CHALLENGE
The previous packaging and logo failed to convey the premium nature of the product. The white bottle gave an inexpensive appearance, and the logo had readability issues due to its unbalanced layout. The challenge was to redesign the logo, balance the long name “Brazilian Sun” and the tagline “Golden Tan,” while improving readability and reducing visual noise. Additionally, we needed to create a premium look that avoided clichés of “exotic” or “tropical” designs often associated with natural Amazonian ingredients, focusing instead on a high-end cosmetic feel. Lastly, the packaging required an upgrade to elevate its overall appearance, matching the premium quality of the product and creating a tactile, luxurious unboxing experience.

THE SOLUTION
Starting with the logo design, we addressed the balance of the brand name and tagline by refining the font weight and proportions. A simple yet effective sun symbol was created above the word "Sun," drawing attention and establishing a cohesive brand icon. This redesigned symbol was inspired by the previous logo's concept, keeping a connection to the old design while modernizing it. We also retained some structural elements of the original packaging layout, ensuring continuity and familiarity for existing customers.

The packaging design was transformed using natural skin tones paired with gold foil accents to highlight the product’s luxurious and tanning effects. The bottle was switched from white to a natural printed serigraphy one with a golden lid, elevating the perceived quality. A minimalistic label design was introduced to emphasize the premium and natural qualities of the product. The outer box added shelf appeal, featuring tactile finishes like gold foil and incorporating the sun symbol on the inner flap for a seamless unboxing experience.
