World Brand Design Society — Silver for Barzini

We started the year with a Silver at the World Brand Design Society with Barzini. A pretty good way to start the year.
Recognitions like this prove that when design and strategy work hand in hand, it shows.

When Maria, Barzini’s founder, came to us, we were already working together on another brand. But this was different. This one started from scratch, which meant we could build everything from the ground up. Strategy, positioning, and how the brand would show up.

The name and flavours were Italian, so we looked at aperitivo posters from the 60s. That very specific moment in Italian advertising. Bold, expressive, a bit playful.
Inspiration doesn’t have to come only from trends (although we also love trends). It also comes from experience.

Of course, the storytelling goes deeper than that. But what mattered was creating something that feels connected to Italy without falling into the usual clichés.
We had fun with it. Especially with the characters.
And the result stands out.
The award is just a good confirmation that we weren’t the only ones who saw it.
