Casagela is an Italian gelato and coffeehouse in Houston. A place for quality products, made well, and small pleasures you can come back to every day.
The name brings together two concepts: Casa means house in Italian, while Gela comes from gelato. Together, they form the concept of House of Delight: warmth, familiarity, craft and pleasure.

The main challenge was to make Casagela feel premium, but not untouchable. Because good gelato doesn’t need to be saved for a special occasion.
The design is minimalist, but with careful attention to print finishes and foils.
“Till the last drop” is about making every drop count.
The typography was customised to make it unique and easy to read, even from a distance for people driving by.

The gelato pints use blue and cream, with small details in gold and pearl foil. A space for writing the flavour by hand keeps the packaging flexible for takeaways and brings part of the making process into the design.

For the launch, we created two combinations: a blue pint with a cream lid, and a cream pint with a blue lid. This creates variation on the shelf while keeping the range consistent.
The bestselling flavours have their own packaging, with a bolder approach, unexpected colour combinations and plenty of foil. The contrast between simplicity and luxury is always there.
The same identity continues across the pints, cups and cup holders. From the first scoop to the last drop.
